I’ll admit it, I love Valentine’s Day! My Mom, Brian and I put together this super short stop motion video. Liam was a huge help too of course, our dog Owen was not. We really didn’t have much time but at least put this video together wishing you a happy day full of love.

Dogsledding & Snowmobiling

We have another episode (#13 already!) of Après Adventures. Ryan and I went up to Breckenridge to go dogsledding & snowmobiling at Good Times Adventures. This was one of our favorite episodes to make. Everyone we met was super friendly and passionate about what they do. The dogs were so much fun and we snowmobiled up to Georgia Pass which had an amazing view, regardless of the snowstorm coming in. You can watch all of our episodes on Snow.com’s Buzz. Also, Good Times Adventures retires their dogs after a certain age, so if you’re looking to adopt a Siberian Huskie contact them. We hope you enjoy this latest adventure and it inspires you to take a trip to Breckridge for your own!

Well in small news, I changed my website from meganleighsweeney.com to HiMegan.com. With that comes minor problems so if you notice anything please let me know. I made this video on Roximity for some friends, Danny Newman & Austin Gayer. They’re super creative entrepreneurs based in Denver/Boulder. Roximity is one of their latest projects. It’s a new location-based smartphone app that provides real-time deals and specials. Roximity is one of five smartphone apps compatible with Ford’s Sync AppLink.

Right now Danny & Austin are in Vegas with Ford at CES & unveiled the Roximity app.

With the New Year comes everyone’s resolutions. People post them, share them, try to keep them but how many new years goals are kept? According to these statistics: 40 to 45% of American adults make one or more resolutions each year. After one month 64% of the resolutions are kept.
I saw this photo posted in Rick Mereki‘s blog. Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible – Frank Zappa. Love the message. So for 2012 I will keep all of my (unwritten) new year’s resolutions & take some risks. I’m imagining all of this in voice over and a musical montage with lots of color, black & white, laughter, action, dancing so please use your imagination because I have run out of time. Do something you love. It’s about the journey, not the destination. Time to really prioritize. Learn about new music. Smile. Laugh. Think creatively. Let’s be adventurous. Saying see ya later to my old demo reel (below) and hello to a new year of wild randomness, documented.

Here are two new episodes of the show Ryan Ross and I are making for Snow.com, Apres Adventures. Due to falling and breaking my foot I couldn’t shoot either show. Instead my extremely modest & talented husband, Brian Sweeney, shot both shows and I edited them. It looks like Brian & Ryan had a few adventures in Breckenridge and Vail. Too bad I missed both snowy cold nights.
