July 24, 2010 Brian & I took a super quick trip to Crested Butte, Colorado for our friends’ wedding, Ryan & Kelsey. Ryan was one of the first people I met when moving to Colorado. We worked together for a film production company in Boulder & I quickly picked up on the fact that he would be great on camera. If you know him, it’s obvious. So Ryan starred as a travel host in a show I made for The Network DC, “The DC“. Not only did we get to travel around Douglas County but we got to partake in some of the most random activities we could find to film, such as the lovely Renaissance Festival in Larkspur or the cowboy ranch in Parker. Ryan received lots of fan mail. During these shoots Ryan brought he girlfriend, Kelsey. Soon I didn’t want to go on shoots unless she was there.. because together they were hilarious. Of course they still are, the only difference is they’re married!
I brought my camera and filmed some of the wedding & made this video. I have to warn you that I drank one glass of wine but this is Crested Butte: elevation 8,885 feet. It’s a gorgeous town & the first time Brian & I have been there, and won’t be the last time. David D’Angelo set up his camera like a photobooth & Kelsey’s Dad created that wood background in the photos above. They really had tons of great ideas from the mustache props to cake balls (as you will see in the video).
A huge congratulations to Ryan & Kelsey. Like everyone says, you are absolutely perfect for each other.
